AWARD-WINNING QUALITY
A Celtic State of Mind (ACSOM) is a multi award-winning podcast and media platform, which has earned significant recognition since its inception in 2017, securing seven Football Content Awards (2018, 2021 x3, 2022, 2023, and 2024), including accolades for Best International Podcast and Best Charitable Campaign. This track record highlights the platform’s credibility and appeal within the football media landscape.
UNIQUE CONTENT
ACSOM explores not just match analysis but the broader culture of Celtic Football Club and its fanbase. It blends football discussion with insights into the club’s history, identity, and community, resonating deeply with Celtic fans across the world. It stands out by integrating football chat with other subjects that appeal to fans’ wider interests, such as music, film, politics, comedy, literature, and the arts. This distinctive mix creates a cultural connection that goes beyond typical sports commentary.
CONSISTENCY
With over 2,000 episodes and daily updates, ACSOM provides consistent, topical content tailored to Celtic fans. Its accessibility across platforms like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube (where it has become the first unofficial Celtic-related channel to amass over 22 million views) ensures broad reach and interaction.
COLLABORATION
ACSOM has regularly invited fellow Celtic platforms into the studio to collaborate on content. This has resulted in several new shows being given early exposure to ACSOM's established audience.
CHARITY
ACSOM’s commitment to social good adds a layer of purpose, fostering a sense of community and goodwill among our audience. As of August 2025, we have raised over £115,000 for charitable causes, such as supporting the homeless, underprivileged children, those suffering from mental health issues, the birthplace of Celtic Football Club, and Wee Jamie Tierney, who is a local boy with a life-limiting disease.
CHART HIT
In December 2022, ACSOM accomplished an extraordinary milestone by landing a spot in the official UK Top 100 music charts with our charity single ‘The Glory & The Dream'. This remarkable achievement underscored the power of grassroots support and the unwavering passion of the Celtic fanbase, propelling a small, community-focused initiative into the national spotlight. ACSOM's second single, 'Hold Your Head Up High (Jimmy Johnstone)', is a tribute to Celtic's Greatest Ever Player and will be available at the end of 2025.
FILM PREMIERE
In July 2025, ACSOM hosted the Scottish Film Premiere of 'Ange & The Boss' at a sold-out venue in Glasgow. This Australian-made feature-length documentary focusses on former Celtic manager, Ange Postecoglou, during his time as a player at South Melbourne, who were then managed by the legendary Ferenc Puskas.
THEATRE PLAY
ACSOM is currently co-writing and producing the authorised life story of former player and Lisbon Lion, Jimmy 'Jinky' Johnstone. This play will be released in theatres by early 2026.
MAINSTREAM RECOGNITION
ACSOM’s diverse mix of international contributors has pioneered a unique space in football media by blending the authenticity of fan-driven content with the polish and reach of the many mainstream outlets who invite ACSOM contributors on to their platforms (Sky Sports, BBC, STV, RTE and several others). ACSOM offers an alternative voice that resonates with Celtic fans, combining passionate, supporter-led insights with professional production values, earning credibility across both fan and mainstream spheres.
BRINGING FANS TOGETHER
ACSOM regularly hosts Celtic events all across Scotland and further afield, travelling as far as Madrid to engage with fellow fans and ex-players alike. Additionally, our free Fanzones are set up to cater for supporters who are unable to get match tickets. These events provide games on the big screen, live music, a live ACSOM panel, and even free pies!
PROVIDING A PATHWAY
ACSOM has provided a platform to emerging talents to hone their media skills. No fewer than four contributors have gone on to secure full-time employment with the BBC, Sky Sports, News Quest and Glasgow World.
